What's The Time?

Measurement

We have been learning how to measure length. We started off by measuring different things around the classroom. We used cubes and sticks to see how long things were. 

We can use the words tallest and shortest when talking about measurement. Who do you think is the tallest in this picture? Who is the shortest? We also lined our class up in order of shortest to tallest.

We have been learning to measure using a ruler. We have measured our hands and feet in Centimetres. We know the short way of writing centimetres is cm

End of term fun

We thought about our school wide focus of making the world a better place and we decided that we could use up the left over oranges in our fruit bowl and make some orange cupcakes. We all had a turn at either measuring, mixing, juicing, zesting, beating and finally eating!! Our orange cupcakes were yummy.
