We had fun ordering these numbers and then matching the set of monsters to the correct number. We had to do a lot of counting! |
Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.

It's Green Week at Owairaka!
Welcome to your first Green Week!
We are listening to some clues that will help us get to know some special places in our school.
Our clue today was to find a place where some thing stripy and squishy lives.
We are listening to some clues that will help us get to know some special places in our school.
Our clue today was to find a place where some thing stripy and squishy lives.
Here we are listening to the first clue and wondering where in our school we might go.
We are on our way to follow our clue-can you guess where we are going?
We walked to the big swan plant by the Fale and we found something stripy and squishy-it was a caterpillar. We saw lots of caterpillars!! We solved the mystery by listening to the clue. We even saw a butterfly.
Our next clue told us to find somewhere in our school where there is something fluttery. Some children had the idea that we could go to where the pictures of the butterflies were, so we headed to the Butterfly Garden.
Thank you Xavier for reading the special sign that told us this was the Butterfly Garden where fluttery butterflies like to be.
Great team work Rooms 2 and 3!
DON'T FORGET TO WEAR SOMETHING GREEN TOMORROW FOR GREEN DAY!
