Happy Holidays

What a great way to end the term with our fabulous fun disco!
Happy holidays everyone and we look forward to seeing you all back in term 4!

PMP

We love Monday mornings when we have PMP. We go to the hall and work our around a series of activities that include rolling, crawling, balancing and throwing. These activities help to develop our coordination and motor skills. A huge thanks to our wonderful parent helpers who set up and run the activities each week.

Music Time

We were very lucky to have a special visit from David's Mum. She came to share a musical story with us. We listened to music while she told us a story. We loved listening to the story and joining in with the actions.
After the story, we were very lucky to have a blow on a very cool instrument called a Bassoon. We had to blow very hard to make a sound-it was fun!
Thank you David's Mum, and we can't wait until you have some more free time to come back and see us.

Play Based Learning

Thank you Heather for visiting our Play Based Learning session.
We really enjoyed playing and creating with a tin full of stones, pegs, rings and Blu-Tack!

We were all very interested in using the screwdrivers to explore the inner workings of an old CD player and stereo.  It was a challenge and we had to persevere to unscrew the screws!

Duffy Show

We really enjoyed watching the Duffy Show on Friday afternoon. Duffy helped to share the message that reading is awesome.
The show was lots of fun.

Book Day-we had a very busy time during book week. We did all sorts of fun things like book swap, 'stop, drop and read', teacher swaps and more! Rimu team enjoyed reading Dr Suess books.

Well done Room 2-you all looked fabulous in your book day characters.

What a wonderful way to end book week-Arnie's Mum kindly came to read Rooms 2 and 3.
Arnie chose one of his favourite books for his Mum to read-it was called The Highway Rat. Can you guess what character Arnie is dressed as?

Book Week Costumes

We dressed up in book character costumes to celebrate the end of Book Week. We all looked fabulous and were very excited to walk across the stage at our special assembly!
