Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.

Baking day
What will we use to make the Anzac biscuits? "Ingredients" said Tamsin
How will we know what to do first? "Use the recipe" said Alex.
Ibrahim wondered ... what does golden syrup smell like?
What will happen to the butter when we put it in the microwave oven?
"It will melt" said Darren and Lokkie.
What happened when we put the baking soda into the melted butter? The baking soda made the melted butter go all bubbly.
Almost ready, keep stirring Dotty!
More Friday Fun!!
For maths today we were learning to recognise numbers to 10 and 20.
We practised our number recognition by counting and then writing the number of petals we put on our flowers.
We think our flowers look beautiful!
