Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.

Our Bees
On Friday morning some students from Room 19 came to talk to us about how they care for the bees in our school.
They showed us some of the important equipment they use when they enter the beehive.
We know they must wear special clothes to keep them safe from the bees.
We also found out that they blow smoke into the hive which helps to calm the bees so they don't sting the beekeeper!!
Thank you so much for coming to share your amazing knowledge about our school bees with us.

Duffy Show
We were very excited to see the Duffy Show today.
We watched and laughed and learned all about the joy of reading books.
We all sang the Duffy song. "Going to read it, read about it, I'm a Duffy Kid and so proud of it!"
