Play-based Learning fun.

More experimenting with magnets this week.
These girls made a long path that lead to a diving board. Can you guess what animal is diving into the pool?

Riley discovered that some magnets repel each other. It looks like the magnets are floating!

A musical morning!

Owairaka School was very lucky to have a special visit form Clarence High School who have come all the way from Tasmania to play to some local schools.
We loved listening to the music they played, and the dance moves were fun too!

'Time Warp' from Rocky Horror Show!
The music was great, we enjoyed the concert.

Vet clinic

We have created a vet clinic and it has been great to see so many of our Tuatahi learners having fun looking after our animals during Play-based Learning.

                                             Meet our receptionist!
One of our Vets in action!

Shake out!

This week saw us joining in with National Shake Out day.
We learned to go under the table and  hold on to the table legs.
We also learned that if there is no table nearby,  we should go into the turtle pose.
Talk together at home and what to do during an earthquake.
