Talofa

It is Samoan Language Week and we have been learning some new words.

When we say please in Samoan, we say fa'amolemole

When we say thank you in Samoan, we say faafetai
We listened to a song that helped us count to 10 in Samoan. Here is the link, you might like to listen to it at home.
We had a visit from Lovely Lau, who came to show us a beautiful Samoan dance. The dance told us a story. We even had a go at dancing ourselves!
Tomorrow we are having a special visit from some Year 5 and 6 girls who are coming to perform a Samoan dance for us-we are very excited!

Fakalekesi has been very busy at home in her bubble

Fakalekesi has been working hard at home in her bubble. She has been doing lots of different activities and having fun at the same time. We loved receiving these photos today-thanks Fakalekesi.
Lots of cooking-this means Fakalekesi has been measuring, mixing, stirring, baking.....

She has been watching how the ingredients change once they get mixed together and put in the oven.

Such a great help being kind by doing the dishes.

It's great to see this writing Fakalekesi, I hope you can bring it in to school to share with us when school starts again.

Great learning Fakalekesi, we are really proud of you, thank you for sharing your learning with us!
