Happy holidays!

Thank you to all our whanau for supporting and encouraging our learners as they began their new learning journey at school this term.

We finished the term with a Fun Friday activity......we made popcorn boxes and  filled them with popcorn!

You all look great in your blue and green-what a great way to end our first term.

Fitness........

 Karen enjoyed having some helpers  to lead the balance and stretching this morning.

We have had a great term of swimming and it was fun to end our season with our Little Splash.

 

finding half.....

 We noticed something interesting in our photo this week.

     One of the apples has some of it missing!

We learnt that this apple had been cut in half-and the way we write this is 1/2

We also had apples in our classroom today, so we cut them in half and found out that it gave us two pieces!

          Aurora is showing us half an apple.

Shaheer discovered that we can also cut shapes into half.
