Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.

We hope you managed to get outside and enjoy the fabulous weather in the weekend. On my walk around Cornwall Park I saw lots of baby lambs.
I wonder what you noticed while you were out-did you make your name out of sticks and leaves?

We are so impressed with all you wonderful learning this week and it has been fun learning together during our Google Meets.
Just a reminder that we won't see you today as Mrs Waddington and Philippa will be on their phonics course-we are doing some learning on line too!
Here are a few things you might like to do today and over the weekend.
Have fun!
It's Friday, so that means it's time for the Chicken Dance-have fun teaching your whanau.
Take a walk around your garden or neighbourhood, and while you are out noticing things, see if you can say the beginning sound.
On my walk I might notice a tree ..... t-t-t-tree
I might pass a car......c-c-c-car
I hope to see a blossom.........b-b-b-blossom
See how many beginning sounds you can say for the things that you see.
