Myra and Amara have been busy............

We loved getting these photos from Amara and Myra showing us how they can listen to the beginning, middle and end sounds of words.

What wonderful work girls, you are clever at sounding out words as you write them. We are super proud of you.

Thanks for sharing your learning with us.

Here is a fun song to help you practise the vowels sounds

This week we have been learning to listen to the beginning, middle and end sound of a word.

Today's challenge is to put all that work into action by sounding out the whole word and writing down all the letters.

How did you go-we would love to see a photo of your sounding out.
Photos can be sent to:  pgetty@owairaka.school.nz
