Home learning from Charlie......

 Charlie watched home learning TV today and was very interested in a segment on skinks, also called mokomoko.

Charlie has skinks in his garden, and we have also had a few skinks on our classroom deck!

Charlie drew a picture and did some writing about what skinks like to eat. They like to eat spiders and little bugs.


Awesome writing Charlie, I like the way you have sounded out the words. Thank you so much for sharing your home learning with us.

   Happy skink hunting, I wonder how many you will see!

    I wonder how many Mokomoko live on Owairaka Mountain? I think there would be plenty of food for them there like spiders and bugs.
