This week is Road Safety Week! Here are some ways we can be road safety superheroes:
always use the school crossing
walk, bike or scooter to and from school
scooter at a safe speed and keep a look out for cars going in and out of driveways
wear a helmet when you are on your bike or scooter
be SAFE in cars - Seatbelts Are For Everyone!
Small things make a big difference - stay safe Owairaka!

Room 8's top 3 tips for being safe when walking by the roads are: always cross the road at the lights or at a pedestrian crossing, look both ways before crossing the road and always walk on the footpath.
