It's hard to believe it is the end of term already!
At Owairaka, we value reading and encourage you to keep reading together over the holidays. At the end of each term, we send home a holiday reading log. This is where you can record the books you read together during the holidays. These holiday reading logs are then returned to school at the beginning of the next term. There is a prize for the class who returns the most reading logs!!
Fairy Judy also pays a special visit to those who return their reading logs ....it's always exciting to see what prizes she brings to share!
We sent the holiday reading logs home yesterday, please check your child's book bag-they look like this:
