Well done everyone for all the awesome maths learning you did at home. We are proud of all of you and the effort you put into your learning.
Don't forget to send in your sponsorship money!
Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.

Maths Week
Welcome to Maths Week at Owairaka. You will have received a sheet of maths facts for your child to practise at home this week, along with a sponsorship form. Please feel free to chat with us if you are not sure what to do.
If you have time in the mornings, read the fun word problem that is posted outside Room 2 with your child, and see if they can find a way to solve the problem. Remember to come and whisper the answer in Mrs Getty's ear!
Here are some children working on their maths. They are rolling 2 dice and counting how many dots they have altogether.
