visitors of the creepy crawly kind!

Some boys found a weta hiding under our shelves today!
Luckily Tyson's mum didn't mind picking it up so that we could all have a good look at it.
We counted the legs-there were 6!

We also found out that the weta has antennae and feelers-look how long they are!


 We got out the magnifying glasses so that we could take a closer look.
Tyson's mum then put the weta back outside into it's natural habitat.
 What an exciting morning we had today!

    What an interesting morning we had! We had fun looking up close at the Weta and then looking of the i-pads to find out what Wetas eat.
