As part of our Matariki celebrations in Room 3, we made a special Korowai. The Korowai is made from paper feathers that everyone helped make. A Korowai is a traditional woven Maori cloak. The Korowai is worn as a symbol of prestige and honour. It is also symbolic of leadership and includes the responsibility to care for the people and the environment. Come in and see Room 3's Korowai!
Welcome to Tuatahi, your child's first class. This blog is a place where we share our learning journey with our whanau and friends. Our whole school theme for 2022 is Superheroes, and this term we will look at the idea that not all superheroes wear capes. We look forward to working together to create a positive learning journey for your child.
