Phonics

During our Google Meet on Friday, we read a story called Fantail Fantail. Our phonics work today is based on words from the story, so before you do your work, you need to click on the video below and listen to the story again.

Now that you have listened to the story, see if you can hear the beginning sounds of these words.
Here is our rhyming string for today. Can you hear the beginning sound-have a go at reading  all of the words so that you can hear the rhyme.

Word of the week and writing

Here are my sentences using the word you.
Now it's your turn to write your own sentence using the word you.

Reading
Here are the magenta sight words for you to practise reading.
If you can read all of the magenta words, then have a go at reading these red words
And if you are ready for a challenge you can have a go at reading these yellow words!
