Keeping Ourselves Safe

Over the next few weeks, our school is working through the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme.
In Tuatahi, we have been talking about safe places which includes when we might feel safe or unsafe.

As part of this, the learners are being encouraged to know their address, in particular the street they live in.
Our learners have drawn a picture of their house to put onto our 'class street' display.

We decided to extend the house 'theme' into our play based learning and here are some photos of different houses or safe places that have been built.

Israel made a house to keep the dinosaur safe.

Willjay counted 7 windows in his house!

Maise is drawing a picture of his house.

Siddharth made a castle to keep his cars safe.
